Cracking up with Bryan NYE 2020/21. Interactions with Bryan inevitably ended up this way. Still can’t believe he’s gone.

A dear, dear friend over many decades and travels. Always kind and generous and above all great fun. Life will not be the same without him.
Rest In Peace old pal, I’ll meet you on the other side.Brian Cooper
To B1,
Gone too soon mate.
I know I promised not to but can I say now how we blew up your Grandmother’s letterbox 3 Guy Fawkes nights in a row until she finally twigged and took it inside.
I’ll miss you – and apologise to your Grandmother when you meet up with her again!!

What can one say having been friends for 68 years! So many memories too numerous to mention them all.
We both learnt to drive together at around 14 being taught by the local milkman to drive his truck delivering milk and earning some pocket money. That was great except for dropping the clutch too fast so that all the crates of milk slid out the back and smashed on the road in the early hours of the morning in Allinga Avenue!
The photo would be around the time as young lads (around 12 I think) experimenting with various things like the time we thought it would be a good idea (mainly Bryan’s) to put the bullet that we found in my dads vice in the shed and hit it with a hammer. Went off like a shot up the driveway and narrowly missed the postie delivering letters to the mailbox. As you would expect at our age we did the right thing and ran like hell!
Although we did not catch up a lot in the later years we were always thinking of each other talked often and celebrated special occasions. I will miss you and always be proud to call you a friend and my mate.

My first memory of Bryan was my first date with Charles at Bryan’s 21st held at his parents place.
Another is at the Kooyonga Golf Club when I went to watch a tournament with my Dad. We could see this silhouette walking down a slight hill in the distance laden with cameras, it was Bryan.
Bryan’s cheeky smile and laugh were infectious and he always had a story to tell.
Although we moved from Adelaide many years ago Bryan was a loyal and very caring friend, who along with Denise, would meet up with us whenever possible.
We will miss you Bryan.

Fond memories of fishing days on Yorke Peninsula. Selfie taken on Balgowan Beach, I think.
