The thing I love most about this photo is Bryan’s infectious smile, it was there as a boy and never left. Even on the tough days, the happy spirit was never too far from the surface.

So sad to hear the passing of Bryan, i knew Bryan when I worked at The Advertiser for many years along with Barry, we shared a coffee the three of us when we said goodbye to Brian Webber. He will be missed by many people. Rest in peace Bryan .
Graham Tidy
Bryan with two of his Tiser colleagues at his former flat at Benacre. Paul Lakatos at left and myself (Graham Tidy) at right. We all lived there at various times to keep it in the Tiser photographer family. Great memories!

Annual St Albyns Avenue Christmas party outside of our house – byo everything except the actual bbq and lo and behold here comes Bryan down the street with everything loaded into his wheelbarrow! – always the life of the party. He adored his family and loved his friends – truly one of a kind.

I went to Victor Harbor caravan park with Bryan and his mum and dad when we were about 13 or so, we both “fell in love” at a distance with the same girl also there with her parents!
Through Bryan I met some of his “renegade” mates, the likes of Dueul Droogan and Rodney Duke, memories of some rather wild and booze-filled parties.
We called each other “Chasps”. It was really great for Bryan and Denise to be at my place for an intimate and memorable dinner in September last year… now a pleasant memory, but now a mate lost.

We were both in the front row of the grade 1 photo with Fuss and Nunn. All short-arses together. Not much changed over the years. Loved being reunited through the Class of 62 in 2012. So sad that Covid messed up last year’s reunion.
RIP old mate.

He was one of the kindest people I ever knew. We all met in the 60’s. Lots of laughter and many social occasions. The host with the most.
Laughter, kindness, generosity, so many memories. Bryan always inclusive. A true friend ?

Bryan was always there for his mates
He was always the first to call
Time nor work got in the way of his friendships
A generous man who will be missed.
